Paschim Medinipur District Blocks – Sabang, Narayangarh, Kharagpur –II.
Purba Medinipur District Blocks – Bhagawanpur-I, Patashpur-I, Moyna, Egra.
Population benefitted : 4.00 lakhs

h) Construction of Approach Road: i) Bituminous road 23.85 Km, ii) Moorum Inspection road 30.44 Km

a) Land Acquisition completed : 510.541 Acre
b) Resuscitation of Main Rivers completed : 133.487 km
c) Resuscitation of Small Drainage Channels : 175 Km
d) Sluice Renovation completed: 37 nos
e) Bridges construction completed: New Construction of: i) 8 Nos. RCC Bridge, ii) 2 Nos. Wood-Steel Composite Bridge, iii) 14 Nos. Wooden Bridge, iv) 2 Nos. Foot Bridge
f) Construction of Rubber dam type regulator at Chabukia: (Cost as per RFP: WBIW/SE/WC-II/RFP-02E/2018-19 lowest rate quoted by ITD Cementation India Ltd.) It was directed to go for a fresh tender for construction of a Rubber dam after revisiting the credential and the technical specification in consultation with CDO-I&WD and technical Institute like IIT, if required.
g) Construction of Buildings completed: i) 1no Division office building, ii) 1no additional room, iii) 3 nos. Boundary wall, iv) 1no Godown
h) Construction of Approach Road completed: i) Bituminous road 23.85 Km, ii) Moorum Inspection road 30.44 Km
Cumulative Expenditure till date : Rs 353.27 Crore, upto 31.03.2024

b) Balance resuscitation of River Baghai from 0 to 7.50 Km, Tentative cost: 12.50 Crore.
c) Balance New Sluices / Remodeling of Sluices / Extension of existing Sluices (Total - 53 nos.), Tentative cost: 46.376 Crore.
d) Balance Land Acquisition, Tentative cost: 20.00 Crore.
e) Catchment area Treatment Works etc., Tentative cost: 24.81 Crore.
f) Maintenance @1% of works, Tentative cost: 5.87 Crore.
